Private  Lessons  vs.  Group  Lessons

Private Lessons:     A Private lesson is an excellent choice to students who have already taken piano lessons, or would like to have one-on-one instruction. The teacher customizes,   accommodates and/or modifies each piano lesson according to the student’s interests, needs, and capabilities.

Beginner Group Lessons- Ages 7 & 8:     A Group lesson is a great choice for young students who have never experienced piano lessons. It is also a wonderful avenue to meet children of the same age as it consists of 4-6 students in each class. It is more affordable than private lessons and is especially attractive to parents whose child shows some interest in music but is not sure he/she really wants to pursue the piano.  As students often learn from each other, they will occasionally perform pieces in class and receive constructive critiques and encouragement from their peers.
